DA over 8000' (AAE 5500' temp 29) Stopped for lunch and took on only 14 gallons to keep weight low. Very shallow climbout! Another goaround for alturas as we were too high but we did not take on fuel at this stop just a rest and strech chatty people :-). Smoke and haze from utah all the way here. Lovelock vis 10-15 miles in smoke and haze. watching the restricted areas on the way to lovelock (talked to Range Control) and skirted the edge of their zone. Parked airplane and took ferry back to our house via Marion. Drove Back to YXX for cars.
