2010-03-29 2010-03-29N32198 (PA-28-140)5TX0 (LOCAL)1.41.4Tom TweedaleNew Instructor. Starting from "ground zero". Familiarization with area, aircraft, checklists, and field. As we did a few laps between HWY 380 and Lake Ray Roberts, Tom demonstrated stability of the aircraft, simple turns, trim. After making several turns, I flew back to the field, descending to pattern altitude, then Tom took over and landed after we crossed mid-field. NOTEABLES: No headsets used. We were able to hear each other okay, and more importantly I was able to hear the change of sound from the engine as we ascended or descended. HUMOR: I allowed the truck to run out of fuel on way home & Dad had to rescue me.N32198 (PA-28-140)N321985TX01.41.41.41.41.4Tom TweedaleTom TweedaleNew Instructor. Starting from "ground zero".
