Overflew Joann's house to take pictures of new landscaping. Low approach over Wax Orchards (Vashon Island), which is for sale for some tens of millions of dollars. T&Gs at TIW then home.
Low tide landing on the beach at Copalis Airport (elevation 1-foot ASL). Meet with ~50 other aircraft doing a FATPNW gathering. Gave an orientation flight to JL's friend. FF on the way back.
Flight to AOPA fly-in. 700+ aircraft attended. Landed in continuous stream of planes, flying most of the way down the runway before landing and then being taxied off the end of runway 02 and parking on the old runway (now dragstrip)
Went to Chehalis golf course restaurant for evening dinner. Quite cold and snow on ground in Chehalis. Dew point matched temperature just as we were taking off.
VFR over the top to Yakima. Return trip had density altitude issue, couldn't climb high enough to take southern route around Rainier so had to take Snoqualmie
