CSIP insurance checkout with Mike Wachey from Aero Atlanta - Mike flew to CHS in a 172SP - Ground work on 22 systems and 1.3 in flight going over procedures, engine out, no flap landings etc...
VFR to SRQ with Andre via Flight following - worked on LOP procedures at 9500 feet - FF levels were low - Spot Landing at SRQ - return to CHS with JK - LOP at 9500 with 12 gal FF

VFR from GRO topick up Dad at DXR - VFR to Lake Placid, lunch and scenic flight over Whiteface - back to DXR to pick up JK - VFR to GRO to Mohegan Sun - back to HPN

VFR to CHS for maintanance - 1st flight for new engine so extra caution was needed - High speed taxi and full power run-ups were completed to look for any problems - Wake turbulence vector behinf C17 at CHS
VFR with Dana and the boys to Dollywood #2 - Gusty landing with decent x-wind component, on 2nd touch bad nosewheel shimmy occured all the way until full-stop - back to LRO with 8kt x-wind and nosewheel was fine after extended wheely
Tough VFR day to get to SRQ - Mid Florida had low level broken layer and had to stop in Hernando Co. to wait - SRQ went MFVR and I decided to try and get in, but while on approach to Rwy 14 at SRQ Tampa informed me that SRQ went IFR - Amended destination to VNC even though I could see SRQ from the coast - Upon landing at Venice, the Linemen (Bill) made a call to SRQ tower and ask for VFR staging into SRQ from VNC - I quickly left VNC & contacted SRQ tower direct and allowed visual for runway 4 - Tower put me in as a Helo to avoid any issues with Tampa - Very interesting and educational trip
VFR to GYH with boys for Tae-kwan-do tourni - A busy convective day throughour SC and we had to go around numerous cells - Left GYH during a break in the cells and proceeded to use XM weather to avoid busy areas - 200kts over the ground on the way back - Worked with ATC to avoid and issues
Burn of fuel before flight to RDU - VFR flight with JR, Matt Kelly, and Pierre to the Stanley Cup finals game 1 in Raleigh. Avoid isolated storms via XM, landed on 32 at RDU - Night flight back to RDU - No skywatch on way home, error 429 on the 430's
VFR to PDK to 57th Fighter brunch with Tracy and Jim, Pick up at Gwinnette - Squaks, MFD flickering began on flight from LZU to PDK and continued all afternoon, #4 CHT was reading yellow and red, Transponder went down shortly
