Right Seat back to YXX. T.O. SW bound with 10Kt headwind but performance wasn't optimal and had to avoid trees to the SW at end of runway. @ localiser approaches from HUH - XX- YXX then 1 T&G on 19 then to land on 19
To Rowenas same route as before.. Tip: use an 800' circuit which will help coming in too high and use full flap. Approach from either way (with 50' obstacle) but take off east bound if able as wind may die out before trees.
Two Touch and Go with full flaps then solo to Hope Airport. Standard rules apply but when cable tow for hang gliders is active cable must be off runway. Cable ops on radio. Calm 25
Downtown flight over vancouver via Pitt Meadows. Cloud deck at 2500 flew 2000 all the way. Two clockwise and one anticlockwise orbits around downtown. Only ones.
Hazy and borderline vis. to YPK and SFU before turning around. 21 on ground and 30 at 2500. follow Fraser to Harrison then back. Ask for SVFR on return due to haze and low sunlight.
